About Orange Label Art + Advertising (OLAA)

Orange Label Art + Advertising, formerly Hunter Barth Advertising, is one of Orange County’s longest-standing privately held advertising agencies.

Founded in 1972, the agency currently represents clients from across the United States, in a broad range of specialties.

Orange Label Art + Advertising is the industry leader in document imaging advertising and works with both large regional dealers and major international manufacturers.

Key differentiators for the company include its ‘Orange Exploration‘ approach to fact-finding, powerful ‘View from the Field‘ research technique, and ‘The Juice‘ different-and-better client branding method.

The agency principals are Wes Phillips, Ian Crockett and Rochelle Reiter.

Wes Phillips
Wes has an unwavering commitment to generating Leadership, which enhances the quality of life. One of the functions of Leadership is the ability to wisely translate an intention into reality and sustain it. Wes has the ability to help Orange Label Art + Advertising clients specifically identify their company’s long-term intention and then with savvy marketing and advertising strategies, assist them in sustaining their business intention. The bottom line is Orange Label Art + Advertising clients become market leaders! As market leaders, Orange Label Art + Advertising clients experience increased sales, improved gross profit margins, greater net profit and, most importantly, higher long-term business value for all stakeholders.

Wes became part of the Orange Label Art + Advertising team in 1983. The first seven years he learned every aspect of the agency business. In 1990, Wes became Chief Executive Officer.

As a result of his commitment to Leadership, Wes has been invited to conduct seminars and workshops for companies throughout North America. He currently sits on the “Board of Advisors” for one privately held company. He has been awarded the President’s Award by the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton, his alma mater.

Ian CrocketIan Crockett
Ian began his career at Orange Label Art + Advertising in 1984 and quickly established a major role in one of Orange Label Art + Advertising’s proficiencies, the office technology industry. While managing millions of advertising dollars on behalf of Orange Label Art + Advertising’s clients, Ian helped those clients become the dominant force in their market, then reap the rewards by selling their businesses and becoming multimillionaires.

He has conducted seminars and workshops, been a keynote speaker at National Sales Meetings and consulted with international manufacturers such as IBM, Kyocera, Mita, Hitachi, Sharp Electronics, Ascom Hasler, Minolta and many more.

Ian is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton and works closely with their College of Business and Economics, speaking to classes and being one of the founding members of the school’s highly successful Honors Networking Program. Ian is also currently a professor at Cal State Fullerton in the Communications Department. He is an active member of Vistage, an international organization for business leaders, and also serves as a guest speaker to Vistage Groups. In 2003, Ian was elected to the Board of Directors for the Orange County Advertising Club and has served as its President.

When you meet Ian, ask him to tell you some stories from his three-year stint traveling with one of the largest circuses in the world. At 6’5”, he’ll tell you he was the World’s Tallest Midget, but we’ll give you a hint, that really wasn’t his job.

Rochelle Reiter
A Southern California native, Rochelle has been on a fast track at Orange Label Art + Advertising since the day she graduated from Cal State Fullerton’s School of Business and Economics. Beginning her career as the agency’s Media Assistant, she was quickly promoted into a Media Director role in which she managed the broadcast and print activities for Orange Label Art + Advertising clients in over 200 markets nationwide.

Sensing that her well-rounded business skills and affable personality were well suited to working directly with the clients and directing all their marketing and advertising activity, Rochelle made the lateral move into Orange Label Art + Advertising’s Account Service Division. From there, she wasted no time in being promoted to Senior Account Manager and recently to the position of Orange Label Art + Advertising’s Vice President. As a key member of the agency’s management team and providing valuable input into its strategic direction, Rochelle has found time to return to Cal State Fullerton, participating in Professor For A Day, being a founding member of the Business Department’s Honors Networking Program and speaking at other student functions. She has also earned a MBA in International Business and was a nominee for the Orange County 2001 Women in Business Awards.

Rochelle is active in Vistage as a member of a Key Executive Group. Her interest is to further hone here leadership skills in order to enhance the performance of client’s marketing strategies.
